Data Deletion

You can remove your data from Xgen at any time. Choose any of the ways below.
1. Disconnect the account in Xgen
Open the Social page in your dashboard (my.xgenapp.org/social.html) and disconnect your TikTok or Instagram account. Access tokens are deleted immediately; the other data linked to the account is deleted within 30 days.
2. Revoke access on the platform
- TikTok: Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and services, find Xgen and remove it.
- Instagram: Settings, Apps and websites, find Xgen and remove it.
After access is revoked, Xgen can no longer read or publish anything on your account. Send us a short e-mail (below) if you also want the stored data deleted.
3. Ask us by e-mail
Write to [email protected] from the address you used in Xgen, with the subject "Data deletion" and the name of your TikTok or Instagram account. We will delete your data and confirm by e-mail within 30 days.
What is deleted
Access tokens, profile data, statistics and media lists received from TikTok and Instagram, and the publication history linked to your account. Backup copies are deleted within 30 days after that. Content already published to TikTok or Instagram stays on those platforms; delete it there yourself.
